me

The Debrief (the place where I work) is the new amazing digital website for twenty-something women from the publishers of Grazia, FHM and Empire. We write about rude things. And real life things. You should read it. (No really).

This blog started as a total hobby in my bedroom and has grown to something so much more. Sometimes I get nice emails about this blog and people invite me to stuff. I’ve worked with beauty and fashion brands on product development like Diesel, Elizabeth Arden and others. I have reviewed things from restaurants, clothes, medicine (no really) to a hotel room in New York and other random but amazing things. It’s nice but I will only review stuff if it’s up this blog’s alley, so to speak and be transparent if something is paid for. Feel free to let me know about stuff going on in London, I love a natter.

My expertise is in digital and social campaigns. I’ve worked with the likes of Unilever, discussing real women stories for Dove across their global social media platforms and wrote their tone of voice for the brand. I worked on Real Beauty Sketches and global campaigns. I used words like ‘levarage’, ‘social eco-system’ and ‘local markets’ a lot in this job.

I’ve created social strategies for TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe and their #LFW partnership. I’ve also managed the social strategies for P&G, Heinz, Levi’s, Diageo TK Maxx and lots of others. I took over the Twitter feed for @TeamGB during the 2012 Olympics during the Royal Albert Hall party with Kate and Wills.

I have spoken at Social Media Week, Facebook marketing conferences, international brand conferences and seminars such as Condé Nast Design College about creating social media strategies and building your personal brand.

You can follow me on Twitter @girllostincity. I’m basically always there.
